NSV Double-Eccentric Stainless Steel Butterfly Valve

The NSV high-performance butterfly valve features a double-eccentric design with high-performance soft seating. The disc lifts off the seat within the first few degrees of rotation, eliminating friction and wear—resulting in extended service life and low operating torque.

Cast in stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and is rated for Class 150–600  at temperatures up to 200°C.

Gear operator is standard, with pneumatic or electric actuators available as options. Available in wafer, lug, or flanged end connections for flexible installation across a wide range of industrial systems.

Why Double-Eccentric?

Compared to centerline designs, the double-eccentric configuration offsets the shaft from both the disc center and the seat sealing line. This allows the disc to disengage from the seat within 2°–5° of opening, eliminating sliding friction.

The result: longer seal life, smoother operation, lower torque and reliable bidirectional shut-off in water, steam, chemicals, and other clean service applications.
