This Axial Flow Check Valve is manufactured from C95800 Nickel-Aluminum Bronze, specifically designed for highly corrosive fluid services. Its unique axial flow design ensures minimal pressure drop and quiet, non-slamming closure, making it an ideal solution for preventing backflow in seawater cooling, offshore, and chemical processing systems.

Body Material: C95800 Nickel-Aluminum Bronze Superior corrosion and cavitation resistance in seawater and chloride media.

Alternative Common Bronze Materials:C95400, C95500 (High-strength Ni-Al-Bronze), C90500 (Tin Bronze), C83600 (High-Leaded Tin Bronze) for varying corrosion and strength needs.

Maximum Size: DN300 (12)

Maximum Pressure Rating: Class 300

Axial Flow Design Streamlined flow path for minimal pressure loss.

Internal Spring Assist Ensures immediate closure upon flow stoppage, preventing backflow and water hammer.

Operation & Advantages

The internal trim is made of corrosion-resistant materials matching the valve body grade, with a spring-assisted disc moving axially along the pipe centerline.

Under forward flow, the disc opens against the spring force with very low resistance; upon flow reduction or stoppage, the spring and reverse flow swiftly close the disc.

This design eliminates disc flutter and violent slamming, enabling near-silent operation and significantly enhancing system stability and component service life.

 

Typical Applications

Widely used in shipboard ballast and cooling systems, offshore platforms, desalination plants, chemical process lines, and coastal power plant cooling water circuits.
